This Handrail Kit provides a smooth offset handrail run by securing to the underside of the handrail with its swivelling support bracket.
It is often used at the side of a ramp or series of stairs. If changes of direction are required on a ramp or stairway these can be achieved by using fittings from our individual fittings section to join the handrail.
The handrail can be adjusted to any angle with its swivelling support head. The handrail tube sits onto the top of the supporting bracket and is then secured either via a rivet or self tapping screw.
The uprights are secured by selecting the most suitable method from our “Top Fix”, “Side Fix” or “Cast in” solutions. When selecting this method it is essential to add sufficient extra length to dimension A (approx 200mm), to give the desired handrail height. .
