Our client was contracted to install a trolley bay in an area of a car park that was becoming an issue to the Supermarket.

The area in question has pedestrian access to the main road via steps and customers were using trolleys to take their shopping as far as they could before leaving the trolley the corner of the car park. This made the car park look untidy as well as creating a hazard with loose trolleys around that could easily hit pedestrians or vehicles.

The supermarket contracted our client to install a small trolley bay to solve this problem.

Mr. Aktar the Manager at the company contracted to install the trolley bay said “We knew exactly what we wanted to solve this problem and what space we had to do this. The Modular design of the trolley bays made it very easy order and most of all to install. We simply selected the Single trolley bay on the website and entered our dimensions. We had the price immediately and had all the options for the type of material we were fixing into to select from. The kit arrived with all the tubes cut to the correct lengths with labels on that matched the clear instructions. This installation was done by a new team of installers that had not done this type of work before and they had no issues in following the instructions and installing a compliant Trolley bay.

Looking to re-organise a cluttered and tired garage by using our modular metal frames to make the best use of some left over Kitchen worktop.

The area you can see in the photographs before had some very old and wobbly shelving units that did not make the best use of the space and were not stable enough for larger or heavy items.

Our client measured the height of the dryer and then ordered cut lengths of tube from us with base and top fittings to act as supports onto the floor and also secure to the worktop.
The base fittings have a small amount of adjustability within them which allowed for the slightly uneven floor and to make a stable storage space.
Mr. Davis our client said “I have been meaning to re-organise my garage for years but never really got around to it and never really found anything that would fit correctly into the space. When we had our new kitchen fitted and I saw the amount of unused worktop that I had paid for I realised I could put it to good use. The great thing I like about the modular metal solution is that I can add to it easily, take it down and relocate it if I need to and it is extremely robust. The cost of this compared to buying an off the shelf storage solution was much lower and I have something much more robust than is readily available from your local DIY store. The tubes all arrived cut the lengths I requested with an allen key as well as the fixing screws to secure the bases to the worktop. I could install the whole system without any special tools. I will definitely consider using modular metal store for my next home project before I go out and buy something standard.”
Modular Metal store offers full table frames to create a more ridged base for when the table or shelf material is not as thick as in this application.
