Our extension kit is designed to be used in combination with our standard Wall Fixed Double Clothing Rail to provide extra bays along a wall area.
The extension kits need to be the same dimensions in A and C to work with the standard systems although dimension B (Bay width) can be selected to suit the layout requirements.
It comes as standard with two rails to match the standard kits but additional ones can be added or even removed if required due to its flexible and modular design.
The fittings and tube all come in a Galvanised Finish providing an industrial but attractive finish.

Tube Sizing

All of our clothing rails are designed using size B34 tube (34mm outside diameter). This is a recognised standard within the industry but if you require smaller or larger sizes then please contact us directly and we can look to design something for you.
On our freestanding range they are supplied with an elbow fitting as standard and then the option to select a different foot is required. When doing this please take dimension A into consideration so that your overall height A allows for this. Example if you add a Flange post to the elbow this will increase the height by 100mm so take this away from the dimension A that you want to achieve for your rail.
Common Sizes and dimensions
The below are common sizes used for clothing rails in the industry
Height (Dim A)
Shirts and T-Shirts – 1.2m to 1.4m
General Clothing – 1.6m to 1.8m
Long dresses – 2m
Width (Dim B)
Not specific to clothing but common sizes are
1m, 1.2m, 1.4m, 1.6m and 1.8m
