Kit 10 – Offset Galvanised Steel Handrail finishing directly to the upright (Any angle of Rail)

This kit provides a neat way to achieve a smooth offset (80mm) handrail to a stepped or flat area for access. The 147 internal swivel allows the 125 Elbow fitting to rotate to any angle that the handrail may need to be before final setting locks the elbow into place with an allen key. The upright is capped with the 333 plug to finish them off. The handrail finishes directly to the post at the upright and is secured at the opposite end to the supporting structure with our swivel flange bracket that also allows for any angle of handrail.
If the user needs to hold the rail for stability it is worth considering setting it a bit further out to allow them to hold it on accessing the area.
The uprights are secured by selecting the most suitable method from our “Top Fix”, “Side Fix” or “Cast in” solutions. Where using cast in or top fix it is essential to add the extra length of material you will need above the ground for dimension A.
The wall flange is secured by the two holes in the base plate.

Our kits come with the correct fixings to suit the material you are connecting to so you have everything to secure the handrail.

Additional uprights are supplied when the handrail length B requires this.
